These pictures were all taken along the Jordan Valley Road between Jerusalem and Tiberius.

The Allenby Bridge between Israel and Jordan.	Before the intifada, many Israelis drove out from Jerusalem to the Jordan Valley to shop for fruits and vegetables, but that business is gone, at least for now. The stands along the road were pretty deserted.
The flag is flying atop a Jordanian outpost just across the river.	If you look closely, you can see the Dead Sea in the background, well below sea level.
I took this picture from the car as we were stopped at a checkpoint along the road. It was the only one in the two-hour stretch we drove.	Another pretty view of the Jordan Valley.
